38 Km North of Ismalia.

Project Impact:
1) The Project will Help to achieve the targets of the NPDS.
2) The Project will insure a safe and reliable all weather transportation
link between Sinai and Main land Egypt at any time.
3) The Project will help to relocate part of the increasing population
of Egypt in Sinai Peninsula.
4) The Project will help in the transportation of goods and passengers
between the castern and wastern countries of the middle east and thus
contribute to economic and cultural exchange. This in turn will help
to support a lasting peace in the Middle East.
5)The Bridge together with the Northen Coastal Highway will help to
complete a land transportation route between the North African Countries
and Europe through the East Mediterranean and Turkey.
6) The bridge will contribute to the safety of navigation in the Suez
Canal by replacing some of the crossing ferries.
7) The Bridge will contribute to the welfare of the inhabitants on both
side of the Canal by enabling smooth and timely transportation of food
and other services.
