Para D. Article no.15 of thee Suez Canal Rules of
navigation shall be modified to read as follows: As
requested by the Suez Canal Authority, seaworthiness certificates have to be issued
by the following I.A.C.S classification societies:- - Lloyds Register
of Shipping (LR)
- Bureau Veritas Francais (BV)
- American Bureau
of Shipping (ABS)
- Registero Navale Italiano (RINA)
- Germanischer
Lloyd (GL)
- Det Norske Veritas (DNV)
- Russian Maritime Register
of Shipping (RS)
- Nippon Kaiji Kyoku (NK)
- China Classification
(CCS)
- Korean Register of Shipping (KR)
However, if the ceritificates
are written in local languages they should be translated into either Arabic or
English , and Duly certified by the relevant Embassy or Consulate in Egypt. |
