Grounding cause no delay to Suez Canal traffic

A vessel has grounded in the Suez Canal, however it is not causing traffic interruption, at least not yet. The grounded vessel is LNG Grace Emilia and it happened at km 125 (close to Kabrit station) in ‘Little Bitter Lake’ – a location where it allows other vessels to pass in both directions. Four SCA tugs (Mosaheb 2/Abdelhamid Youssef/MISR AL GADEEDA/Barka) are currently involved in refloating the vessel.
