Increase in fee on Suez Canal Authority's Electronic Service

The Suez Canal Authority have in its latest periodical circular decided that the fee for usage of its electronic service shall be amended as follows:

1. For vessels transiting the Suez Canal from 1st September 2024 the charge will be USD 300.
2. For vessels transiting the Suez Canal from 1st January 2025 the charge will be USD 500.

The current costs for the same is USD 50 which will remain until end of August 2024.
