Since 2012 Leth Danish Straits have strived to deliver high quality and proactive services in all of Denmark drawing on our local competencies and innovative mindset. We desire to be readily adaptive in the ever-changing shipping industry, latest with the example of Covid-19 vaccination of seafarers being the first agent in Denmark to vaccinate seafarers in transit without having to slow the vessel down.

The Danish Straits are among the world’s most traffic intensive areas in shipping - only exceeded by the Malacca Strait and The English Channel. With our great coverage at other maritime hotspots the Danish Straits are no exception.

The many in- and outbound vessels coming from the Baltic area can take advantage of the short distance from the Danish shore to the merchant sailing route and conduct various services with launch boat, either whilst the vessel is underway, or while the vessel makes a short stay at anchorage. The short sailing distance and numerous possible locations of service through the Danish Straits gives the vessel managers great flexibility to perform services with a minimum delay of the vessel’s onward journey.
